At the edge of West Vancouver in the lush oceanside Whytecliff Park, friends gathered to create the first release of Beaux Fall/Winter 2015 Wedding. The glacier grey wool bow ties paired with mismatched dapper grey suits on the gents and airy blush shades for the ladies blended subtle tones as these party goers bid a gentle adieu to the summer months.
Glacier grey bow ties added a touch of fall chill to the come-as-you-please grey suits that befit this nature filled late afternoon.Groomsmen Carmine and Anton's easy approach to the big day let their personal style shine through while Barrett opted to tie in the bridesmaids' blush with a matching hand dyed blush linen pocket square.
The bride, Carmen, wore a satin and tulle sweetheart strapless gown from the North Shore local atelier Isabelle's Bridal, which allowed her natural beauty to take centre stage. Her bridesmaids, Nitu and Jessica, wore dusty blush silk Zara sleeveless tops and handmade pale blush skirts for a rustic woodland feel.
Wonderful staging by the amazing Nicole and Holly of Past Pieces set the mood for the bridal party's scotch and tea table where the handsome groom, Barrett and his trusty groomsmen, Carmine and Anton, enjoyed some 15 year old Laphroaig.
Carmen's hair was artfully crafted to withstand the strong western breeze by Freddy at Moods Hair Salon in Yaletown. The talented make-up artist, Tianna Tran, one of the big hearts behind A Wish to Wed Society, created a dewy natural look befitting of Carmen's laid back personal style.
Awesome flowers supplied by Queensberry Flowers in Vancouver were the perfect finishing touch for the scotch and tea table, the ladies' bouquets and the gents' boutonnieres.
All this rustic love was effortlessly captured by the unparalleled Vancouver based wedding photographer, John Bello. The mastermind behind the event with her extensive organizing of every little detail, (and trust me, we saved the best for last) was Theresa of DiamondsxDreams Event Planning.
